About Blake's Decorette Shop
WELCOME to our online store. We are excited about launching this new outlet, and are working hard to make your
visit enjoyable. So far just a small part of our inventory is online,
but we are adding more as fast as we can type. In the meantime, if there is something you want
and you do not see it here, just ask - we probably have it!
We will be adding several features in the near term, such as search capabilities, discussion areas, an email newletter,
a special section for recipes and tips, and other features. If you have any suggestions or questions, please
let us know!
We opened the Decorette Shop in Tigard, Oregon in 1982 and now have one of the largest inventories of
cake-baking and candy-making accessories and ingredients of any store in the Northwest.
Through our
classes and special seminars, both professional and amateur bakers learn to bake and design gorgeous wedding
cakes, transform vegetables into beautiful sculptures, create luscious candies, and even make
exciting gingerbread houses. All of our staff are very knowledgeable and experts at cake decorating
and candy making - so you are sure to get the help you need and useful tips and suggestions for your creations.
Some of our more rare items include beautiful blown-glass wedding cake tops, various crystal colored sugars, white
margarine, and a special citric acid formula to give candy that special tangy bite!
So if you are ever in the southwest Portland area, drop by and see us in the Tigard suburb. I am sure
we can find something for you that will make the trip worthwhile. We are open 9-5:30 Monday thru Saturday.
